Via the Lurker's Guide--

Production number: 108
Original air date: February 23, 1994

(It also got an Emmy for Best Makeup Design.)

This thing's /way/ more like it.

(Oh, I should finish the episode, whups. *zoom*)

Things I love: Lennier. Also, the assasin. (Especially his glasses & attitude once he's out as the assasin.) Also, Na'Toth.

Also! This is the episode that I originally learned how to deal with O'Hare's acting, which is to say, I can't actually do two things at once while he's onscreen, because if I just listen, his voice puts me to friggin' sleep. But his body language and facials are actually pretty good. (It's amazing how much time I don't actually /watch/ TV, most of the time.)

Also, as per usual, I heart Londo. ( "Did I ever tell you that you are very cute for a Minbari? Even you are cute, in an annoying sort of way. Everybody's cute! Everybody's cute! Even me. But in purple... I'm stunning!" *thud* )

Also times three, G'Kar, Na'Toth, and the assasin in their last scene, and the last bit of the torture scene. "And you didn't enjoy it in the least." "I didn't say that." That there involved actual actor interplay which they enjoyed, that did.

Things I liked less: Enh, well, I know it's important and all, but the Minbari ceremony was Portentous and Overwrought.

Things I really /really/ didn't like: Sinclair & Sakai's Tennyson scene. It really felt like Nickson kept going, "Do I /actually/ have to read this line? Guess I do..."

And although JMS kept going, "No, humans aren't the only ones with diverse religions!" the scene at the end sure made it SEEM that way. Bleh.
